No generalized programs. Every plan is built specifically for your dog, your household, and your realistic day-to-day life.
We coach you and every member of your household — because lasting change requires consistency from everyone your dog trusts.
Follow-up check-ins, a private client portal, and an ongoing resource library keep you supported long after training ends.
My relationship with dogs started the way it does for a lot of families — with love, good intentions, and not nearly enough information. As a kid, I was gifted a rescue dog who struggled in ways nobody around us understood. Watching that dog suffer through fear and confusion, and feeling completely helpless, left a mark on me that never went away.
Instead of walking away from dogs, I walked toward understanding them. I spent two years in a formal professional training program, where I trained my first dog and began to see how profoundly a dog's behavior could shift when someone finally communicated with them in a language they understood. That experience changed everything. I added two rescue dogs to my own family — and it was through working with them daily, patiently, that I truly mastered recall training and built a practice grounded in trust rather than control.
For three years I traveled directly to clients' homes, working one-on-one with dogs of every breed, background, and behavioral history. I sat in living rooms with frustrated families who had tried everything. I walked leashes with parents whose kids were afraid of their own dog. I worked with rescues who had been returned more than once because nobody took the time to understand what they needed.
That is why Canine Compassion Collective exists. Not for perfect dogs — but for real ones. And for the families who love them enough to show up, even when it is hard. If any part of your story sounds familiar, you are exactly who I built this for.

Our rescue Biscuit was terrified of everything and lunging at strangers on every walk. After eight weeks with Canine Compassion Collective she is a completely different dog — calm, confident, and genuinely happy. Our family can finally enjoy our neighborhood again.
I was genuinely considering rehoming my border collie because of his reactivity — it had gotten that bad. Kailyn worked with our whole family, patiently, for months. He now walks calmly past other dogs. I cannot overstate how life-changing this has been for every person in our house.
The Puppy Foundation program was the best investment we made for our family. Our cockapoo Poppy learned faster than we expected, and more importantly — we learned how to communicate with her. The whole household feels calmer. That is worth everything.
